Our Ingredient Commitment
Products have been formulated by a Naturopath using botanical ingredients at levels which will have the most active therapeutic and nourishing effect on the skin accordingly.
What we use in our products is simple and effective. No 'nasty' colours, fragrances or preservatives are used. We are honest about our ingredients and try to choose the highest quality without compromise.
Herbs are grown and/or gathered by me in a traditional and sustainable way (always observing appropriate tikanga) ensuring the health of the plants are maintained. The balms/ointments are based on local New Zealand beeswax and plant infused extra virgin NZ olive oil.
Our Story
Prior to my now busy life as a mum of two gorgeous children and entrepreneur of Ana I studied Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy. My passion in this field started as a child, I would go out and pick plants and brew concoctions for people when they were sick.
Creating skin products along with Rongoā Māori quickly became a passion for me at College then becoming a mother and having children with skin sensitivities I felt the need to treat my whanau with chemically free unprocessed products. And so the range was born..
Slowly but surely the range became popular with people after a range that is suitable for their sensitive skin, safe to use on their children and really works.
With tradition, quality and the environment in mind we produce highly natural products, the old fashioned way.
I have woven my love and knowledge of the Native therapeutic plants of NZ (Rongoā) into this range, to which they bring tradition and vitality. Enjoy!
